USB Pluggable (for Data Centres)

Monitor your kit's (servers, routers, SAN/NAS etc.) environmental conditions in remote locations (e.g. in data centres) and receive alert notifications. Manufactured in the UK, these sensors feature two-point calibration to ±2% RH at 21°C.

USB-powered. No security or compliance risk – USB data pins are not connected. Connects directly to multiple 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (no hub required). Once connected to your Wi-Fi network, manage the device remotely and access your data 24/7 via the web interface or API.

The purchase price of £55 includes a 12-month subscription, providing access to the web interface and API, an annual hardware health check, recalibration for ultimate precision, major firmware upgrades, and continued eligibility for our limited lifetime hardware warranty. After the initial 12 months, the subscription renews at £3 per device per month. Volume discounts are available.

Ceiling Mount with Tamper Alert (for Landlords)

Monitor the environmental conditions in remote premises that you own (HMOs, buy-to-let and commercial properties). Connects directly to multiple 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (no hub required). The data is accessed and the device is managed remotely through the web interface.

Know first if your sensor has been removed or otherwise tampered with. Receive alerts when conditions favourable to mould growth develop, or when a potential flood is detected. Manufactured in the UK, these sensors feature two-point calibration to ±2% RH at 21°C.

Smart but simple QR-code based interface enables property owners, landlords, letting agents and tenants or lodgers to access the data and adjust the lifestyle for mutual benefit to the property and their own health.

Annual battery replacement and recalibration are included within the subscription, together with a limited lifetime hardware warranty, providing complete peace of mind. No additional mid-year battery changes required.

Portable constant temperature chamber

Designed to improve the accuracy of relative humidity probe (hygrometer) calibration using saturated salt solutions. The main obstacle to achieving high precision sensor calibration using saturated salt solutions is temperature stability. Even a seemingly small change of 1°C can affect readings by 10% RH or even more, effectively voiding calibration results.

While remaining affordable, our portable calibration chamber is designed to overcome this limitation, allowing you to achieve calibration accuracy as high as ±1% RH at the specified temperature. It incorporates both a heater and a cooler, controlled by a microcontroller, together with a fan to ensure the air is thoroughly mixed and maintained at a consistent temperature throughout the chamber.

Can be used with third-party sensor/probe calibration kits from various manufacturers and probe vendors to increase their calibration precision. In this case the third-party calibration kit is placed instead of internal glass chamber to maintain the kit at a stable temperature. This drastically reduces measurement error and allows you to achieve impressive calibration accuracy.

Alternatively, you can use the internal glass chamber to calibrate your sensors and probes. Saturated salt solution stays at the bottom of the internal glass chamber and sensors can be placed above. There is a second fan to equalise the air inside the internal glass chamber as well as additional temperature sensors to maintain even higher temperature stability. There are multiple customisation options to tailor the chamber to your needs - please contact us to discuss.

Data Acquisition

We are passionate about data and information. Identifying where the data can be acquired from and how is the first but very important step. We have extensive experience in acquiring data from various systems and devices, including but not limited to SNMP, Modbus, RS485, APIs and many other industrial protocols. Sometimes data can't be collected from existing equipment and bridging the hardware gap is required. This is where bespoke hardware design and engineering comes in handy. There are numerous PLC and sensors that can be incorporated into the design, as well as fully bespoke hardware can be developed where required.

Monitoring and Alerting

Once required data is collected, it needs to be presented in a convenient way to highlight abnormal conditions immediately. In most cases, acquired data needs to be transformed into information that is more meaningful to operators. Strong knowledge in physics empowers us to flexibly convert data between various units and display in the format that is most convenient for operators. In addition, alerting is set up to notify about events that require immediate attention.

Control and Automation

Lastly, there is an option to continuously control and automate system responses. Controlling temperature by adjusting heating and cooling power, together with automatically shutting off the water supply in the event of a suspected flood, are typical examples of control and automation. To integrate into the wider operational picture additional factors must also be taken into account, including but not limited to staff response times and availability. Combining all of these factors allows us to develop the optimum control and automation strategy, maintaining a reasonable balance between automatic and human-driven control and response.

Balance is the key

Finding an exact balance, a thin line between what response to automate and what to leave for staff actions is impossible without seeing the bigger picture. The cost of an incorrect automated action vs the cost of delayed or absent human intervention needs to be weighed up and decisions made. Every automation project is different, and achieving the right balance requires a thorough understanding of the wider operational environment. We would be delighted to discuss your requirements.
